The British newspaper The Guardian reports that BAT are ready to buy Tyrrell. Some time ago Tyrrell denied being on sale, especially because of the loss of the Tyrrell name. The shape of the five year 300 million-pound deal now is not known. Only that it will bring Lucky Strike into Formula One. BAT has already signed Jacques Villeneuve for the 1999 season.
