Michael Schumacher spun off today, during testing at the Mugello track. Schumacher was unharmed. The German, who announced yesterday that he will not return to racing this season, was testing at Ferrari's Tuscaby circuit, when he lost control after 15 laps on the Scarperia bed, spun off the track and hit the barriers.

Schumacher had to walk to the pits while his car was removed from the track. Ferrari mechanics managed to repair the damaged suspension and chassis, and Schumacher resumed testing, which was dedicated to engine and aerodynamics development.\
