Jean Todt has said that the McLaren is still the best car on the track. He stated: "There are two fast circuits ahead of us and the Ferrari is still inferior to our direct rival, especially in terms of the distribution of weight and the aerodynamic set-up of the car. But having said that, we are giving them a fight now and we will be fighting them right through to the end."
He also added: "I've got a lot of dreams. And obviously, the first of these would be to win the world championship."
Ferrari is definitely looking for the championship but Todt stated that "here at Ferrari, we are just taking things race by race."
Testing news
The last day of testing at Monza started this at ten in the morning on a damp track, due to overnight rain. The track only got dry in the early afternoon. Only Jordan and Ferrari were running today, and Ferrari was testing new Goodyear tyres for the Italian Grand Prix.

Nick Heidfeld, who is currenty looking strong in the Formula 3000 series, replaced him. Heidfeld clocked the fasest time of the day. He concentrated on the development of the Bridgestone tyres.
Pedro Diniz, who was second fastest, tested the new spec D Arrows engine. The team is not sure if they are going to use this engine in Belgium.
Max Wilson tested for Williams. The team didn't want to say what they were testing the only thing they said was that it were small and important things.
