The FIA International Court of Appeal has gathered in Paris to decide McLaren's appeal over the unsuccessful protest made on July 12th against Michael Schumacher's post-race 10 second stop-go penalty at Silverstone.

The appellate court will make their ruling tomorrow. Ferrari feel strongly that their win will not be reversed.

Hill Snubs Williams?

The UK Mirror reports that "Damon Hill has turned down an amazing £5 million chance to return to Williams." No direct quotes from Damon Hill or Williams have been cited. No other confirmation regarding the story were given at this time.

Coulthard Desires to Stay

Craig Pollock's smile and charisma hasn't brought about much reception by David Coulthard in joining BAR for 1999. The Scot made his intentions clear yesterday when stating, "I believe I will be at McLaren next year... I don't see a better alternative for myself or for the team. Mika Hakkinen and myself offer one of the best line-ups in Formula One. I believe I am still improving as a driver. I have more to offer and the best is still to come."
