Michael Schumacher is optimistic about this weekend at Barcelona. He does not believe he will be able to beat the McLarens but he does feel Ferrari has made progress. He stated after the tests last week at Barcelona that Ferrari has closed the gab a little more. The Bridgestone tyres are believed to have some advantage over the Goodyear tyres.

Stewart looking for improvement

The Stewart team is really struggling this year. Both drivers feel the car is nearly undriveable and Jan Magnussen may loose his seat to Jos Verstappen. Barrichello tested the new front suspension, last week, which, according to the Brazilian, made the car driveable again. He will also test a totally new chassis during this Friday free sessions.

To our readers

My apologies for not updating the news section sooner. I moved last weekend and the cable company was not very willing to deliver my Internet connection immediately, so I only had my portable and no way to log onto the Internet. Everything will be Okay again starting this Friday. You can expect more news and faster updates!

Best regards,

Michael Viveen.
