McLaren, Williams and Jordan have been stopped from running their new braking systems in todays free practice sessions after protests from Ferrari, Minardi, Sauber, Tyrrell and Arrows went unresolved.

Ferrari made identically worded protests against each team, and both Minardi and Sauber used the same protest against Jordan. Tyrrell lodged a complaint against McLaren and Arrows lodged complaints against both McLaren and Williams.

There will be a meeting of the stewards to decide whether or not the protests are to be upheld later this afternoon.
