Bernie Ecclestone has won a German lawsuit concerning the FIA television rights. The German television producer Eisele believed that the monopoly the FIA has, with the television rights, is illegal. The judge however didn't think this is the case. He said the FIA owns the rights because they are also responsible for the marketing value of those rights.

Tests

Damon Hill was back on the right track at Barcelona (Spain) today. He clocked a semi-record, behind the records set by the McLaren's, of 1m 21.52s. He was faster than both Williams drivers. Panis was fourth. He was testing new aerodynamic solutions on the Prost car.

It thus seems with first Ralf Schumacher being the fastest and now Hill that the Jordan team has found a lot of speed.
