Jos Verstappen and Mika Salo tested the new Tyrrell on the revised Silverstone (England) circuit last week. Mika Salo showed himself very happy with the altered track: "Silverstone has done a very good job to speed up the track and the new surface is beautifully smooth."

Verstappen drove a time of 1m 46.56s while Salo did a 1m 53.12s. These time are not representative because of very different weather situations in both session.
