Morbidelli new test-driver for Ferrari; Williams change lawyer

Gianni Morbidelli will be the test-driver for the Ferrari team in 1997. Nicola Larini, who used to be their test-driver, landed a seat with the Sauber team. Morbidelli has driven 60 Grands Prix, the last was with the Arrows team in 1995.


Williams change lawyer

The Williams team have appointed Peter Goodman of Pockworth Solicitors to represent them in the Ayrton Senna case. Goodman will be assisted by Williams' legal adviser Stephan Greenway. The team will be represented in Italy by Oreste Dominioni. Some of the Williams team, including team-boss Frank Williams, will face manslaughter charges in Italy. They are being held responsible for the death of Ayrton Senna at the Imola circuit on May 1 1994.

Roberto Causo, Williams previous Italian lawyer, will continue to represent officials who will also stand trial.
