With twenty eight qualifying sessions completed for 2003, the differentials are once again on a roll! Let's see which drivers deserve bragging rights.
Italy Notables
- Setting the Record Straight: The guest appearance Marc Gene made in the Italian Grand Prix markedly improved his qualifying records - whereas previously his best grid position ws 15th, set in the 1999 German Grand Prix while driving for Minardi, he was 5th in Monza, driving for Williams.
- Friday Exclusions: Since Jos Verstappen did not set a time in Friday qualifying, the Minardi pair are excluded from this week's qualifying differentials. Likewise, the Williams pair have been excluded after Ralf Schumacher's time was disqualified as he cut through the chicane.
- Saturday Exclusion: The Renault pair of Fernando Alonso and Jarno Trulli was excluded from the Saturday qualifying differentials, since Alonso spun on his fastlap and ended up at the end of the grid.
