Toyota's Olivier Panis concluded a single day of testing at the French circuit of Paul Ricard today.

The Frenchman ran a total of 56 laps with a best time of 1:27.560, working on aerodynamic development ahead of the United States and Japanese Grands Prix.

"We had a very successful day," Panis said. "We took advantage of the circuit flexibility and adopted a track configuration that helped us to prepare for the quite atypical Indianapolis layout.

"We focused on aerodynamic developments and set-up options for the United States Grand Prix but also for Japan, and I am very happy with what we managed to achieve in just one day."
