Brazilian driver Luciano Burti was in action at the Fiorano circuit today, testing an electronic component in Ferrari's F2002 chassis.

While World Champion Michael Schumacher and teammate Rubens Barrichello secured an all-Ferrari front row for the Japanese Grand Prix, Burti completed a total of 24 laps around the Italian circuit, 15 of them around the short version of the track.

The circuit was wet, and Burti set a best time of 1:10.325
