Tuesday May 14th, 2002

Italian test driver Luca Badoer kicked off on Tuesday at Fiorano Ferrari's preparations for the upcoming Monaco Grand Prix.

While teammate Luciano Burti was in action at Jerez with an F2001 chassis, Badoer worked at the wheel of an F2002 at the Italian circuit, carrying out a programme of aerodynamic and setup testing. Badoer completed a massive 104 laps, 32 of them around the short version of the track, setting a fastest time of 58.936.

World Champion Michael Schumacher will replace Badoer tomorrow at Fiorano.
