Brazilian Enrique Bernoldi is feeling the pressure as he prepares for this year's race at Interlagos, his second Grand Prix in front of a passionate home crowd.

"I enjoy the Brazilian Grand Prix but the flip side is that there is greater pressure to perform in front of the home crowd," said Bernoldi, who is yet to finish a race this season after being disqualified in Australia and retiring with a mechanical problem in Malaysia.

Arrows driver Bernoldi, who audaciously overtook Ferrari driver Michael Schumacher after being passed by the World Champion in Malaysia, believes his Cosworth-powered A23 will be competitive in Brazil.

"The pace is there for us to challenge for points," said Bernoldi. "I was having a good race in Malaysia before I had to retire so I am really looking forward to this race. The track itself has a good mix of corners and a few overtaking spots and can be demanding due to the bumpy surface."

At last year's Brazilian Grand Prix, Bernoldi was forced to retire with a hydraulics problems after qualifying in 16th position.
