Eddie Jordan is ready to get his team back on track and put the disappointment of Australia behind them at this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix.

The Irish team boss admits that he was frustrated after Melbourne in which Giancarlo Fisichella's race was brought to an abrupt halt on the first lap and Takuma Sato was forced to retire.

Jordan is now aiming for both drivers to finish the race at Sepang after the round-the-clock work put in to correct the problems with Sato's car - and also urged caution to all the drivers on the starting grid.

"We need to get on and do the job in Malaysia after the disappointment of Melbourne," said Jordan. "There was clearly nothing we could have done to avoid Fisichella being caught in the first lap crash, but we've been working hard to fix the problem that forced Takuma to retire.

"Hopefully all the drivers will be careful going into the first corner at Sepang, as I'm sure the fans want to see exciting racing with all 22 cars taking part."

Jordan are likely to sign former McLaren designer Henri Durand to take over from technical director Eghbal Hamidy. The 41-year-old Durand is an aerodynamics expert who has also worked for Ferrari in the past.
