World Champion Michael Schumacher got back to work on Friday, wrapping up Ferrari's preparations for the upcoming British Grand Prix.
The German four-time champion, who finished in second place at last Sunday's European Grand Prix, replaced teammate Rubens Barrichello at the wheel of the Italian car at the Mugello circuit.
Schumacher set a quickest lap of 1:22.364 as he continued working on tyre assessment ahead of the Silverstone race.
The Ferrari star was the quickest of the three drivers present at the Italian track, with Canadian Jacques Villeneuve and Briton Anthony Davidson again working for the British American Racing team.
Villeneuve was slightly faster than Davidson, but both drivers were nearly three seconds off Schumacher's pace.
