World Champion Michael Schumacher was in action for the second consecutive day at the Fiorano circuit, continuing with Ferrari's preparations for the San Marino Grand Prix.

The German driver, who on Thursday worked at the wheel of the F2001, today drove the new F2002 with which he won the Brazilian Grand Prix last Sunday. On an artificially watered track, Schumacher completed a total of 39 laps, setting a quickest time of 1:07.372.

Ferrari's test driver Luca Badoer will replace Schumacher at Fiorano on Saturday, while the World Champion tests at Mugello.
