The verdict in the trial Senna case will be given around December 15-17. This was announced during the continuation of the trial today. The trial resumed with the summing up of the defence lawyer Oreste Dominioni, who represents Patrick head and Frank Williams.

Dominioni's summing up lasted for five hours. He told the court: "His (prosecutors) reconstruction of the accident which cost Ayrton Senna his life has no basis in proof, is unfounded and those accused must be cleared."

Dominioni argued that the prosecution has made an error in their theory to exclude the possibility of an imbalance of the car or the state of the track as the reason for the accident. He also added: "Unfortunately, life is also about the unexpected and the inexplicable."

The prosecution may react to this on November 21, and the defence may react to this reaction on November 26.

David Coulthard is unhappy about the team order during the last race. He let his team-mate Mika Hakkinen past because of orders from the pits. Hakkinen then went on to win the race. Coulthard ended second before Jacques Villeneuve.

Coulthard stated: "I was disappointed. There had been no discussion before the race that that situation may have been possible. But Mika deserved the win, and it is a team sport."
