Austrian Alexander Wurz was the fastest of the McLaren duo on the fourth day of testing at the Barcelona circuit in Spain.
After the Sauber team completed a three-day programme on Wednesday, the McLaren squad were the only ones present at the Catalan circuit on Thursday, as they continued working with both the hybrid MP4-16B chassis and this year's MP4-17.
Test driver Wurz, who completed 71 laps at the wheel of the 2001-spec car, finished ahead of Finn Kimi Raikkonen, who again drove the new chassis. Both drivers' work was hampered by the weather in the morning, as they were forced to wait for the circuit to dry up before jumping onto the track.
McLaren will continue testing at Barcelona on Friday, when Williams and Jaguar will join them.
