Trulli Sets the Pace at BarcelonaFour Formula One teams - Renault, Jordan, Arrows and Minardi - returned to work on Monday at the Barcelona circuit, where they kicked off a three-day session as they continue their preparations for the season-opening Australian Grand Prix on March 3.

Italian Jarno Trulli was the quickest man on a session that was delayed due to the fog which covered the track early in the morning. The Renault driver, at the wheel of the Michelin-shod R202, more than 1.5 seconds quicker than Brazilian Enrique Bernoldi with the new Arrows A23.

Jordan were the only team working with two drivers today, with Japanese Takuma Sato and German Marcel Lasee both driving the new EJ12. Sato quicker than 19-year old Lasee, both finishing ahead of Malaysian Alex Yoong with the Minardi PS02.

Testing at Barcelona continues on Tuesday.
