Sunday May 28th, 2000

Michael Schumacher and Luca Badoer completed Ferrari's testing at Fiorano yesterday.

Schumacher continued testing in preparation for the Monaco Grand Prix, concentrating on set-up and aerodynamic work, as well as some tyre testing. He also tried different set-ups on an artificially flooded track.

Schumacher did a total of 85 laps, of which 51 of those were on a wet track, setting a best time of 1:00.777 in the dry and 1:09.860 in the wet.

At the same time, Luca Badoer shook down the three cars to be used in Monte Carlo, completing a total of 31 laps, with a best time of 1:01.676. The Ferrari team also carried out several simulated pit stop practice runs, with the mechanics changing tyres and refuelling the car.
