Long Work Day for Michael Schumacher at Fiorano

Friday March 31st, 2000

Today was a long hard day at Fiorano for the Ferrari team. Michael Schumacher made up for time he lost yesterday through a small fuel feed problem, the German running today until the dark hours, ending testing at 20:30.

Schumacher covered a total of 92 laps with a best time of 1:00.770. He worked mainly on set-up and various aerodynamic solutions for the Imola track.

Luca Badoer was also in action in the morning, still at the wheel of a F399, trying out new mechanical components. He also did some practice starts. Badoer did a total of 51 laps with a best time of 1:01.405.

The 2000 fastest testing time at Fiorano is 1:00.226 (Luca Badoer)
