Tursday March 30th, 2000 Michael Schumacher was scheduled to begin testing today at Fiorano, after two days with Luca Badoer running the team's tests. However, Schumacher had to stop on his first installation lap with the F1-2000. After some investigation, the team traced down the problem to a fault in the fuel feed system, and Schumacher was sidelined for the rest of the day. In the mean time, Luca Badoer continued working with the F399 on developing new mechanical components and on simulating race starts. He ran for the entire day, doing 55 laps with a best time of 1:01.831. Testing at Fiorano will continue tomorrow with Michael Schumacher driving the F1-2000.
