Jordan Off to Australia

Friday March 3rd, 2000

After several days of frenetic activity in the Jordan Grand Prix factory at Silverstone, three cars and 80 boxes containing over 22 thousand kilos of freight are now on their way by aeroplane to Melbourne.

Two race cars and one spare car were tested at the Silverstone track on Wednesday 1st March before being flown out for the first Grand Prix. The race team personnel will fly out over the weekend and begin work at the track on Monday.

Heinz-Harald Frentzen and Jarno Trulli will fly out to Melbourne in time to acclimatise themselves before the race. They will have a busy itinerary of interviews and sponsor functions to complete before the weekend racing starts.
