Silverstone Testing - Day Two

Thursday January 13th, 2000

Arrows and Jordan continued their test program today at Silverstone.

Mark Webber was at the wheel of the Arrows car, logging more miles on last years A20 chassis to develop the new electronics systems that will be used on the A21.

In cold and wet conditions Webber completed 36 laps of the National circuit including a 15 lap run. The conditions were such that wet tyres had to be run all day and due to that and the nature of the testing, lap times were meaningless.

The team reported it made good progress in understanding the data and information collected, which will show benefits when the A21 runs for the first time later this month.
