Barrichello Continues at Fiorano

Friday February 11th, 2000

Rubens Barrichello continued to test the new Ferrari F1-2000 at Fiorano today, unfortunately experiencing some problems.

Testing began at midday. After one installation lap in the F1-2000, Rubens Barrichello did a five lap run, with a best time of 1:01.369. At the end of the run, the engineers spotted a problem with the fuel pressure, so the car was taken back to the workshop for repair. At 15:00, Barrichello went out in the F399 to check out a few components. The tests went according to plan, setting a best time of 1:01.339 during a total of 33 laps.

Testing at Fiorano ended at 17:30 and Rubens Barrichello will continue tomorrow with the F1-2000.
