Friday October 22nd, 1999 Eddie Irvine addressed the five judges of the FIA's Court of Appeal, this morning, and asked them to reinstate his win in the Malaysian Grand Prix - revealed tonight Ferrari's lawyer, Henri Peter. "He came in and said hello and greeted everyone in the room," Peter said, though he declined to reveal any more details on what Irvine had said to the judges. "We don't want to prejudice the outcome," he explained. "We had a very fair, in-depth hearing. The technical and legal aspects of the case were presented by Ferrari. We wanted to present the case in full and to go through the whole thing in detail. It was all done in a very professional and fair way."
