Friday October 22nd, 1999 Ferrari continued testing yesterday and today at the Fiorano circuit. Yesterday, testing began at 14:30 with Luca Badoer driving his F399. Despite driving in the rain, the scheduled programme was completed. Badoer worked mainly on set-up and components for next season. He did a total of 45 laps, with a best time of 1:09.450. Testing ended at 17:30. Today, Badoer began working at 10:00. The Italian driver continued with the programme of developing components for next season. He did a total of 83 laps, with a best time of 1:01.784. In the morning, Badoer ran on a wet track, while in the afternoon, it was dry. No technical problems were encountered on the car. The planned testing programme has now been completed. In the mean time, testing was also concluded yesterday at Magny Cours, where McLaren and Williams were running with test drivers for a couple of days. The Magny Cours track was also wet all morning, but the sun soon came out and by the afternoon the track was dried. Magny Cours Testing Times - Second Day
