Scuderia Ferrari-Marlboro ran their final test session in preparation for the Malaysian Grand Prix today. This morning, Eddie Irvine began testing at 09:30 CET. The Irish driver continued to work on set-up and aerodynamics with his F399. The tests, in common with those which ended yesterday, were aimed at fine tuning the final details in preparation for the Asian event. Irvine did a total of 98 laps, with a best time of 1:02.254. Testing ended at 19:15.

Tomorrow at Fiorano again, Eddie Irvine will shake down the three cars destined for the Malaysian GP. At the same time, Michael Schumacher will do some testing in an F399.

Other teams were testing on the Barcelona track. David Coulthard was fastest for McLaren.
