Norbert Haug of Mercedes is still confident the new McLaren-Mercedes MP-4/14 will come out on top this year. There had been some speculation, speculation strengthened by remarks made by chief designer Adrian Newey, that the new car is unreliable. This weekend's race proved this, but according to Haug also proved that McLaren is still clearly dominant. The team hopes to solve much of the reliability problems in Silverstone next week.
