Today was the fourth and final day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari-Marlboro at Mugello. Eddie Irvine finally had his first tests in the F 399. Starting in the morning at 11:00, he did around twenty laps, working on his driving position in the car. In the afternoon, he did a few runs, making changes to the set-up and balance of the car. At the end of the day, Irvine said he was happy with the way his first run in the new car had gone and also with the work achieved. Testing ended at 18:00. Irvine completed a total of 45 laps, with a best time of 1.27.804.

Ferrari will run at Fiorano starting on Monday, February 22nd.
