Reports suggest that Brands Hatch Leasure Group, headed by Nicola Foulston have put forward a bid to buy Silverstone. Reports also suggest Foulston has a deal with Bernie Ecclestone to keep Silverstone as a host to the British Grand Prix once its current contract ends.

Brands Hatch Leasure Group own a number of circuits within the UK, and was set up in 1926. Nicola Foulston took over as Cheif Executive of the company in 1990.
