Jarno Trulli badly damaged the front of his development Prost AP01B chassis when he appeared to have a steering problem and hit the barrier hard on the inside of a corner. It followed a previous scare in the pit lane when he stopped with the rear end of his car on fire which was quickly extinguished. He will start the race in the "standard" AP01 chassis spare car which he ran on Friday.
Tuero stopped his Minardi at the chicane after locking up his brakes and sliding off over the kerb.
