Japan Tobacco Inc. have renewed their sponsorship contract with the Benetton team. The Mild Seven livery will be present on the Benetton cars at least until the end of 2000.

Benetton chief Rocco Benetton, who replaced David Richards a while ago, said: "The continual support of our long-term title partner is vital for the growth of our team. It is a strong association and we are both totally committed to success in the coming seasons."
