Dallas has pulled out of the race to hold the first Formula One Grand Prix since 1991 in the year 2000. Indianapolis remains the most favoured according to reports.

The man who wanted to organise the event, Buddy Boren, said: "I went to the city and offered a chance to bring one of the world's greatest sporting events to town and got brushed aside."
