Mika Hakkinen may settle for second place if he will secure the championship this way.

He said: "Of course, I want to win the race and take the title that way, but I know that I could do it by finishing second. It is a great luxury for me and that helps me too. It takes off a lot of the pressure. To be honest, I haven't made my mind up 100 per cent if I will try to win outright or not."

He also stated he not at all nervous. Even though he doesn't have experience in these kinds of situations that Michael Schumacher has. Hakkinen said: "This is all a really new experience for me because I have never been in this kind of event before. It is good. I know a lot of people feel stress at times like this, but I am okay for now. I know everyone thinks I could be showing a lot of stress and worry and having sleepless nights and so on, but I am not having any of that kind of trouble. I feel good. I am really okay and happy. To be honest, I am not worrying about anything."
