Eddie Irvine completed his long run, in two stints, totalling 52 laps. Michael Schumacher spent the whole day tyre testing. In the morning he tried dry weather tyres, while in the afternoon, the track was artificially flooded with around 20 tanker-wagons so that he could try various rain tyres. Tomorrow, Thursday, both Michael Schumacher and Eddie Irvine continue testing at Mugello.
