Bernie Ecclestone is eager to get Formula One to the exchange. He wants Formula One to manage without him and not if he passes away be left to his wife, he and his team have been working hard to get F1 to the exchange. So far not successful and a spokesman for the company stated today that it may take another two or three years.

The spokesman Stephen Mullens said: "The company needs the opportunity to specifically build investor awareness. I think the earlier attempt at an IPO suffered from the City (London financial district) not understanding the company sufficiently."

It was speculated that the delay had something to do with the European Union Investigation. This investigation is about the amount of power Ecclestone has in Formula one. The spokesman stated however: "It has nothing to do with the EU. We have always co-operated with the EU and have a very good record of working with them. I don't see any problems with the EU."

The total floatation will mount up to something like $2.0 billion.
