Eddie Irvine and Michael Schumacher continued testing today, but on two separate tracks. Schumacher was testing at Fiorano, and he concentrated on tyre testing. He did 46 laps with a quickest one of 1:01.980s. He began testing at 10:00 and ended at 17:00. The weather conditions were fair and Sunny.

Irvine continued testing at Mugello, where it rained in the morning and dried up only later in the afternoon. Irvine's testing centred on tyres, aerodynamics and car componentry. He did a total of 69 laps with a best time of 1:29.139s. His test session ended at 18:30.

Tomorrow, Friday, only Michael Schumacher will continue testing at Fiorano.
