Mike Gascoyne has been hired by Jordan Grand Prix as the chief designer and will start work prior to the British Grand Prix.

Gascoyne graduated from Cambridge University in 1989 and was picked up by McLaren shortly after for a 2 year period. Gascoyne invented the recently banned X-wing for Tyrrell. He will now endeavor to help Jordan score their first World Championship point of 1998.
