BAR (British American Racing), who bought the Tyrrell team, may have to race using the Tyrrell name. To change the name 80% of the teams have to agree and there are already some teams who don't want to see the Tyrrell name disappear.

Team manager Craig Pollock stated: "Obviously it is our wish to run under the British American Racing name, but we'd be happy to run as BAR Tyrrell as long as the name is mentioned. We've yet to submit a formal application. When we do, I'll vote."
