The German paper 'Bild' stated that Ferrari want to keep Michael Schumacher after his contract ends in 1999. The paper said Gianni Agnelli has personally approved a 83 million dollar contract until 2002, and a job for live as Ferrari's ambassador.

Schumacher's manager, Willi Weber, said: "I prefer not to say anything, just this: there have been no negotiations so far."
