Airbags in F1; Ferrari tests

The idea of airbags in Formula One has surfaced again. Gabriele Cadringher, technical chief of the FIA said the FIA was studying the idea. But he also added: "Obviously, though, it would have to be something a lot more sophisticated than that used in mass produced cars. Because we can't have them going off unexpectedly."


Ferrari tests

The new Ferrari, the F300, spend most of the day in the pits, because of technical problems. Michael Schumacher completed a total of four and a half laps on the Mugello (Italy) circuit with a best time of 1m 34.11s.
