After several announcements that Honda would return to Formula One, an announcement was made that, yes, the Japanese manufacturer will return to Formula One in 2000. Furthermore, Honda will go head to head against Ferrari as the only teams which build their own chassis and engine.

The team will start full-scale testing next year.
