Michael Schumacher expressed his concern about the possibility of Frentzen blocking him on his race to the championship.

The German said: "I have no doubt that Jacques is a fair competitor but I wonder whether his team mate Heinz-Harald might tip the scales by trying to block me."

Schumacher could be right because Ferrari had the same strategy during the last race with Irvine blocking Villeneuve.

Schumacher said about next season: "If I'm to blame (for not taking the world title in 1998), then Ferrari will have to draw the consequences. And if we don't make any progress in developing the car, then I will have to look for another work place."
