Alain Prost, owner of Prost Grand Prix, may sack Shinji Nakano because of his bad results. He always comes in miles behind his team-mate Olivier Panis and Prost is known to be very unhappy about this. The future of the Japanese driver will be discussed in Monaco next week. Emanuel Collard or Gianni Morbidelli could have the possibility to get the seat.

Hill warns team

Damon Hill has warned his Arrows team that he doesn't want to be a also-ran indefinitely. Hill feels his car has to be competitive if he is to stick with the team.

Hill said: "It's important for me to know what the future is next year for the team. I won't make a decision for a while, but I have to plan ahead."
