Frank Williams to face court; Barnard to unveil last car

Frank Williams is preparing to face Italian judges at Imola (Italy) next month regarding the death of Aryrton Senna at Imola on May 1 1994.

The trial, which will start on February 20, will also concern people like Adrian Newey and Patrick Head who will all have to defend themselves against manslaughter charges.

Frank Williams said: "I will be there and I will be defending my company and myself."


Barnard to unveil last car

Ferrari designer John Barnard is expected to unveil his last car for Ferrari when the 1997 Ferrari is unveiled at the Maranello (Italy) factory tomorrow. Ross Brawn, who signed for Ferrari in December, will take over Barnard's activities. It is said that Barnard might make a move to the new team of Alain Prost if Prost gets everything off the ground.
