Schumacher disappointed about Hill; Blundell in car crash; Yamaha

Ralf Schumacher expected Damon Hill to team-up with him for the Jordan-Peugeot team. The German said: "I'm really disappointed about his decision but I guess it is about money. Maybe he doesn't like Schumachers, I don't know."

He said this at the tests at Estoril he is running for the Jordan-Peugeot team. He drove 62 laps with a best of 1m 24.51s.


Blundell in car crash

Mark Blundell, who is now competing in the Indy Car World Series, was involved in a car crash near Cambridge (England). The crash involved three cars including Blundell's Mercedes. A woman suffered serious internal injuries, but she is in stable condition hospital staff said. Blundell was unhurt.


Yamaha

Yamaha is going to supply the engines for the TWR F1 team, as expected. Yamaha, this year with the Tyrrell team, will officially announce their decision at their home Grand Prix, the Grand Prix of Japan. This leaves Sauber, Minardi and Tyrrell still without an engine deal for next year.
