Yesterday, Eddie Irvine drove the F 310 with the 1995 gearbox in order to find the best set-up for 1996 gearbox tests this week. He drove a total of 32 laps with a best time of 1:29.042.

Today, there were again problems with the 1996 gearbox. The titanium components of the new gearbox still showed lack of resistance at the Ferrari factory in Maranello (Italy). Ferrari is still trying to get the gearbox up and running before the next Grand Prix at the Nurburgring on April 28th.

On Friday, Michael Schumacher will carry out an engine tests at Monza with the 1995 gearbox again.
