This is the final edition of the "pretty-table" SuperStats for the
1998 season. The SuperStats will not be appearing in the next issue of
Atlas, while the figures are prepared - and checked - for the
end-of-season issue. In that issue, as has become traditional, will be
the large array of final SuperStats figures for the entire season.
For this edition of the SuperStats, for the GP of Luxembourg, the comparative average placings of each driver in each of the main sessions is presented. These sessions are: Friday; Qualifying; Warm-up; and, Race. Since it is the race position that is the only real position that matters, after all, the table is sorted by those figures. Personally, I found the initial results to be not quite what was expected - and the whole thing became even more interesting when sorted on other figures. Please note that Verstappen, Rosset and Magnussen have not participated in all sessions of all events, and that there are additional drivers who have not participated in all races (eg. the GP of Belgium).
